A Foreign Treasurer In A Godly Land

What we do with money that is ordained for the service of God determines our relationship with what His Son Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross. Money destined for the edification of a Godly nation is not to be used to build a legacy for oneself. It's horrible to imagine a Hitler-type person being the treasurer for federal funds in the nation of Israel. Then imagine that the Hitler-type person builds a monument to himself in the middle of all of Israel's greatest forefathers. This is what is happening in today's scripture text! The Living God instructed Isaiah to go to the treasurer and ask him a couple questions. Those questions were basically, what heritage do you have among us? and who do you have here as your family? In other words, that wicked treasurer has no connection to the heritage he was managing money for, and all he was doing is using the money to build upon his own legacy! In other words, the treasurer was a fraud, an embezzler, a fake, and wanted to establish himself as a great forefather of the nation he was defrauding. Isaiah, by the hand of the Living God would have no toleration for that, and ran that anti-Christ treasurer out of town!

The money that God gives us through the spirit is to fulfill His plan of redemption according to what His Son Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross for the remission of sin. Even in the United States, we see spiritual money being hidden from those who have faith in the One True God, that money is being hidden from those who live for Jesus Christ, and that money is being hidden to bankrupt the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Continuously, on a periodic basis, national monuments are being torn down relating to the heritage of our Godly nation. In Columbus, Ohio, Columbus Day is no longer a holiday, but is replaced by Indigenous People's Day! Every Christmas, there are more and more manger scenes being outlawed from pubic display. The Ten Commandments and the Cross of Christ are no longer welcomed scenery according to the demonic promises of a more tolerant, peaceful, and globally oriented family! At the same time, more and more Muslims swear into the Untied States Congress using the Quran, and others refuse to take an oath on the Holy Bible or any other text. At the same time, they are hailing a $15.00 minimum wage for employees, a 70% tax rate for businesses, and eventually it will be a move towards a cashless society, the 666, and the appearing of the anti-Christ!

The Living God really expects us to do something with the spiritual money that we receive. Some have more spiritual opportunities than others, but we are expected to do with our opportunities what we can. The result of those opportunities should be to let people know about God's plan of redemption through His Son Jesus Christ. To share from our riches flowing from the remission of sin, and share from the riches of the fruit of the Holy Spirit within our spirit and soul! If we hide the Spirit of Christ and do not allow it to shine in us then Jesus Christ says that He will say, "cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth." But, if we share even the little opportunity that we have then Jesus Christ says, "I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." Blaspheming or other wise hiding the Holy Spirit is a terrible, terrible thing to do and is demonic and of the spirit of the anti-Christ. But allowing the Spirit of Christ to live through us will make us a Child of God to inherit eternal life in the New Jerusalem.

Please, let your light shine, let the Spirit of Christ be a part of your daily words and actions. Do the most for the One True God with the little you have. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Scripture Text
"Thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, even unto Shebna, which is over the house, and say, What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, as he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, and that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock? Behold, the Lord will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory shall be the shame of thy lord's house. And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down."
Isaiah 22:15-19 King James Version (KJV)

"For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. 18But he that had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money."       Matthew 25:14-18
