Do Not Fear Their Confederacy
If you have a group of people that associate themselves with a common cause, counsel one another in group sessions, and are locked together by some sort of oath or something, then you have the image of a confederacy! In this year of 2018, government authorities have just about outlawed the Confederate Flag, otherwise known as the symbol of rebels, stating that it is hate speech! On the other hand, many people see a government confederacy that is attacking everything America represents. Many people know the oppression of freedom of speech, attacks on gun ownership, and the passive-aggressive hostility towards the freedom to represent what Christ did for us on the Cross. The confederacy of the modern god of this technological age is doing astounding things with the knowledge and information flowing through people! They are powerful, godless, and they close the door to the soul and spirit. We are counseled not to form a confederacy with the kingdom of this world, the spirit of the anti-Christ is in the world. We are encouraged to enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in that way.
We know that there is a confederacy of the United Nations, which of course has nothing to do with associating, counseling, or being locked together according to the guidance of the Living God. There is a confederacy of “tolerance” to represent all nations equally. That confederacy of “tolerance” is the source of global violence, utilized to demand conformity to the global agenda! There is the confederacy of the modern Church who are amazingly in synch from one Church to the other, but are out of synch with the Message of the Cross of Christ. There is the confederacy of the school system which is based on a common core curriculum to put everyone on the same guidelines, while excluding the Living God from those guidelines. There is a confederacy at the workplace where those who rebel against modern “trends” are disparaged among co-workers. In other words, the new global confederacy is to put the modern god of this technological age as the leader and policy-maker of the New World Order! While many of us are not “in the know” we are warned to enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in that way. Christ Jesus is the Door, that straight way, who gave His life on the Cross so that we can enter into the Kingdom of God.
There is only one Confederacy that will stand! That is the Confederacy of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father has a plan of redemption for the whosoever. God the Son gave His life on the Cross to bring our redemption. And the Holy Spirit enables us to walk in the Spirit of Christ day by day and moment by moment! How can we enter into that Confederacy to secure our Home in the New Jerusalem? We cannot, because we possess a sinful nature, and that sin is not tolerated within the Holiness of peace, love, faithfulness, and long-suffering that is found within the Spirit of God. It is Christ Jesus that abides in us that justifies our fallen condition in the eyes of His Father! Through Christ Jesus we enter in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in that way. When God sees His Son dwelling in our spirit and soul then He knows that our sin is in remission, sin is inactive, and sin is rendered to do nothing. In the eyes of a Holy God, who sees His Son Jesus Christ in us, we are welcomed into the confederacy within the Kingdom of God. We do not join the confederacy that is formed by the kingdom of this world because our fellowship is with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. +
Scripture Text
“Associate yourselves, O ye people, and ye shall be broken in pieces; and give ear, all ye of far countries: gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and ye shall be broken in pieces. Take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing; speak the word, and it shall not stand: for God is with us. For the Lord spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying, Say ye not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall say, A confederacy; neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.” Isaiah 8:9-12
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:” Matthew 7:13
