From The Eater Came Meat and From The Strong Came Sweetness

12/21/2018 10:31

During the days within the scripture text for today, "flesh" is the word that was used when referring to such food as roast beef etc. (meat). But, "meat" was the word used to refer to such things as simply bread, or maybe also honey comb. In this Bible riddle, "Out of the eater came forth meat, and out of the strong came forth sweetness," This is like saying out of the eater came forth honey comb and honey. Now, what this riddle is referring to is when Samson killed a lion with his bare hands. He left the lion laying where it died, and by the time he returned that way again, the lion's carcass was full of bees, honey, and honey comb. Samson ate the honey and was nourished. From the eater, the predatory lion, came forth meat that sustains life. This is like Christ Jesus being the Bread of Life. And the honey that came from the lion's carcass is like the honey that came from the Rock. The Rock being Jesus Christ and the Honey being the Holy Spirit. Now, I'm sure you see how inspiring this portion of scripture is! When the fleshly predatory beast within our sin nature dies to sin, then the Bread of Life, with the Sweetness of the Holy Spirit, begins to live in us. Then, others can feed and be nourished from what is in our soul and spirit through the Word of God and the Holy Spirit.

The whole paragraph above was stated to establish a point that we should never give up the sweetness of the Holy Spirit to be a manager or to rule over others in some other capacity. The next paragraph is really the thrust of this essay today, which says plainly that we should not give up the Word of God and Sweetness of the Holy Spirit to be in control over others. We should always want the Word of God to flow through our spirit according to the Holy Spirit. How many managers or people in some type of authority over us come across as a ferocious lion with no sweetness at all!? Christ Jesus gave His life on the Cross to put to death the sin nature of the beastly predatory lion within us. We are living in the days when the spirit of the anti-Christ is increasing in intensity day by day. As the Word of God is oppressed, the sweetness of the Holy Spirit is becoming scarce as well. Employees and people who are subject to others feel abused verbally and physically. We need to be a gentle creature, the humble lion which bravely and boldly shares the Sweetness of the Holy Spirit while sharing the Message of the Cross of Jesus Christ! Let us be the one who becomes nourishment for the strong!

At this point, I could copy and paste the 8 scripture verses and you would see that it clearly says that we should never give up our sweetness to be the "boss." BUT, first I will copy and paste just one; "And the trees said to the fig tree, Come you, and reign over us. But the fig tree said to them, should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees?" What more needs to be said! The good fruit represent the fruit of the Holy Spirit, such as love, kindness, goodwill, peace, meekness, gentleness, faith, joy, goodness, perseverance, patience, and self-control. All these good fruit is for the purpose of drawing others to what Christ has done for us on the Cross. We should never give these up to be "boss." The last of the 8 verses come to the bramble, or thorn bush; "Then said all the trees to the bramble, Come you, and reign over us. And the bramble said to the trees, If in truth you anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon." The anti-Christ will be like a thorn bush ruling over the ten kingdoms of the New World Order. Not pleasant at all, and anyone who refuses to live by the 666 will be hotly persecuted. BUT, it is Satan, the anti-Christ, and those who serve the 666 who will be thrown in the eternal Lake of Fire. Christ Jesus is coming soon in complete victory over the bramble! We have an Eternal Home in the New Jerusalem!

Without further explanation, here is the scripture text from Judges 9:8-15:
"The trees went forth on a time to anoint a king over them; and they said unto the olive tree, Reign thou over us. But the olive tree said unto them, Should I leave my fatness, wherewith by me they honor God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees? And the trees said to the fig tree, Come thou, and reign over us. But the fig tree said unto them, Should I forsake my sweetness, and my good fruit, and go to be promoted over the trees? Then said the trees unto the vine, Come thou, and reign over us. And the vine said unto them, Should I leave my wine, which cheers God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees? Then said all the trees unto the bramble, Come thou, and reign over us. And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let fire come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon."
                                                Judges 9:8-15

The time is here when being "boss" relates to being favored by the spirit of the anti-Christ! Whatever position we hold, let us be sure to hold on to the Sweetness of the Holy Spirit so that we can be nourishment to others according to the Word of God. Many people, even today, refuse promotions and leadership rules in preference to retaining their sweetness. While subtle persecution exists in the workplace, in the home, and every area of social life, let us remain true to our life according to what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross. Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, sweetly!
