Is God Or Satan the Light of Your House
There can be a lot of contention over who controls a house. There is a lot of fed-up attitudes over the White House playing politics over who controls the House. Then there was the “Big Brother” reality show where participants vie for control over the house in order to survive to win the big prize. I suppose this can even happen in a house where a family resides in any neighborhood. The main issue of controlling the house is based on who is fit…fit by qualifications, moral standards, or other such guidelines. The strong candidate from either side has to be bound in some way by the opposing candidate in order to win the house. An evil opponent is the one who is blind to the issues at hand and are dumb and not able to control the house in a civil manner. The favorable candidate is able to see the issues and adequately speak to secure a solid foundation in the house.
We are the house of God and there is a real war taking place in our society today. That war involves who will control the House! Satan is like a strong man who will whisper in your thoughts to give knowledge, insight, and incredible “respect.” But Satan’s goods has nothing to do with the remission of sin and cares nothing for the Temple of God at all. He wants you blind and dumb to what God has done through His Son Jesus Christ. Satan’s “enlightenment,” or “empowerment,” is designed to prohibit God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit from establishing control within the House. That “strong man” has already been bound and we can gain control over our House, the Temple of God. God is Spirit and speaks to us through the Holy Spirit…NOT THROUGH IMPLANTED THOUGHTS!
Christ has bound the strong man by His shed blood on the Cross. By the Cross, there is remission of sin to reconcile us to the Spirit of God. In the Holy Spirit is a desire with a great love, kindness, goodwill, compassion, and mercy to see others drawn to the Cross of Christ. God has opened our eyes and enables us to speak according to the Holy Spirit who is able to work in us because we accept what Christ has done for us on the Cross.
“Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw. And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. (Jesus Answering,) How can one enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
