New World Order Is Not the New Jerusalem
If a person believes the news media, this world has a lot on which to be concerned. If we believe it is “fake news,” then there is a lot of malicious intent to infect us mentally and emotionally. The bottom line, this world has a lot to be concerned about. Routinely, we hear about earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, a melting Ozone, rampant violence, social riots and protests, flooding and other water catastrophes, Global warming, and forests fires. If someone was trying to sell this world on a real estate market it would not sell if another world was offered. At the same time that we are told that the world is passing away, they tell us of all the great improvements being made for a better world. Universal and affordable health care, world security and peace, social tolerance, the enormous value of self, and a New World Order that we could identify with to lift our dignity. Unfortunately, a large percentage of the population feels left out of the New World Order, they do not feel like the “whosoever.” They seem to have the destruction of the world as their inheritance.
God remembers the comfortless and rejected! At the same time that this world is being destroyed, God is renovating the New Heavens and the New Earth. Exactly like buying a old house then demolishing some parts and renovating others. We are not part of the New World Order, we are Citizens of the New Jerusalem. By what Christ has done for us on the Cross, we are set apart from the Godless ways of the present world, and we are made ready in soul and Spirit for the New Jerusalem. We will be in perfect health, perfect peace, and have a perfect society. God will be All in All. Our identity will be in the Lamb of God. That is a much different picture than the demolition of the world happening as the world says, “We are in the process of building the New World Order.” Isn’t that just like the sinful nature, for Satan to try to take credit for the work God is doing?
God’s Spirit is one of love, kindness, goodwill, patience, self-control, perseverance, faithfulness, joy, goodness, peace, meekness, and gentleness. “For God so loved the world that He sent His Only Son, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross is to atone for our sinful nature so that our fellowship will be restored with the Spirit of God. The world is not being demolished for the benefit of the New World Order, it is being renovated to establish the New Jerusalem for those set apart by the Cross of Christ.
John 3:16 of the Bible is the source of the above quote.
